WE HELP KIDS WITH CANCER
We share the love and compassion of Jesus Christ with families suffering with cancer while providing financial assistance to ease their burdens.
|
WE SERVE Children ages zero to 17 years of age, who have been diagnosed or who are currently being treated for cancer, who have been in remission for six month or less, and families who have recently lost a child to cancer.
|
WE PROVIDEOur Financial Assistance Program is designed to help with the day to day living expenses and incidental costs associated with having a child going through cancer treatments.
|
WE PRAYEach child is placed on the Keep The Faith prayer list. The prayer group prays for the specific needs of each child in the ministry.
|
EACH CHILD ALSO RECEIVES
CARDS
Handmade cards are sent to the children to help encourage them as they go through their treatments and hopefully brighten their day. MONOGRAMMED BLANKETS
Each child receives a monogrammed blanket with his or her name and a scripture reference. An introductory letter tells the family who submitted the child's name to the ministry. |
GOD'S WORD
The child receives an age appropriate Holy Bible from KTF encouraging them to deepen their faith and seek comfort and peace through scripture as they spend their time at hospitals, treatment centers, or confined to their home. MEALS TO FAMILIES
Once a quarter, KTF provides a meal to families who have children admitted to the Hematology/Oncology floor at Arkansas Children's Hospital. |
HOW WE GOT STARTEDThe Keep the Faith Foundation was created to provide support for children with cancer and their families. It is our hope and mission to encourage, pray, and support those battling cancer while spreading the love of Christ.
KTF was established in loving memory of Dakota Hawkins, Jazlyn Ferguson and Caleb Sims, three children who fought hard and vigilantly in their fight against cancer. As Dakota inspired people within our community and around the world to “Keep the Faith,” his inspiration was chosen as an integral part of our mission and ministry. |
